Kelli
Kaufer can transform your home
with creative and practical design!
About Kelli
Kelli
Kaufer loves design,
but her
first love is her family.
Kelli and
husband, Paul (married 25 years) live in Stillwater,
MN. They have two boys, Corey and Jordyn. Her passion
for design started with their first renovation of their
100-year-old home in Stillwater. Their home was featured
on HGTV,
which was the beginning of Kelli's design career.
Kelli Kaufer is
currently a featured designer for HGTV and
DIY Network
since 2004. You can see Kelli and her designs on Decorating
Cents, Curb
Appeal, Sweat
Equity and a new show BATHtastic.
Not only is Kelli a regular designer for these shows, she has
been featured on many Network specials.
Kelli's approach
to design and decorating is ”you can do it”. She
really listens to her clients and some have requested to be
a part of the design, decorating process. Kelli can help
you get started and guide you in the right direction to a do-it-yourself
project or can carry the design through to the end. Whatever
your design needs may be, Kelli is there to tackle them all.
Kelli‘s passion
of decorating has lead her into designing a line of lamp shades.
Her biggest challenge for some clients was finding a decorative,
hip, modern shade that complimented her designs. To solve
this problem Kelli started her own shade line, Tacky
Shades.
Tacky Shades is a one-of-a-kind patented shade which allows
you to apply your own material to the shade, whether it be
fabric, cork, wrapping paper, wallpaper, etc. Ideas and
applications are endless! Kelli and her shades can be seen
on HGTV Decorating Cents and DIY Bathtastic.
The Tacky Shade is an accessory that turn a room from ho-hum
to Glam Slam!
Kelli has been
in the visual retail business for over four years for a large
retail store with over 200 locations around the United States.
She designed and implemented visual and window store front
displays and was the detail hand painter for all locations.
